Overview Description of the Hytera HR652:

The Hytera HR652 is built to extend communications across campuses, large facilities, and multi-floor buildings. It uses TDMA to provide two voice channels simultaneously on a single 12.5 kHz channel, thereby boosting capacity without requiring additional frequency allocation.

It can run in analog, DMR, or dynamic mixed mode. In mixed-mode operation, the Hytera HR652 automatically switches between analog and digital calls, helping teams transition from legacy systems to DMR with minimal disruption.

The Hytera HR652 repeater is designed for harsh environments with MIL-STD-810H ruggedness and an IP54 rating for dust and water intrusion. Output can be set for up to 25W, with adjustable settings that help target the right range while limiting interference. It also supports a single-frequency repeater function that uses both DMR timeslots to receive and forward calls on a single frequency in direct mode.

For added security, it supports digital encryption options using ARC4 or AES. For sites that require continuity during outages or for field deployments, an optional 12.5Ah (12,500mAh) battery pack can provide up to 4 hours at 25W, and fast charging can fully recharge the pack in about 3.5 hours with the optional 100W charger.

For multi-site needs, IP Connect (license required) supports linking multiple units over IP networks. The Hytera HR652 repeater also supports interconnection with systems such as SIP and VoIP phones, dispatch platforms, and DMR Tier II networks.
